World at War Game Changes: The Sub-Saharan African league (SSAL) has been expanded to include 6 new countries for a total of 15. For those of you who are interested in handicaps, the SSAL is rated as follows: 1. Number and quality of offensive units that can be built: Below average 2. Income generated per turn: Below average 3. Number of units that can be built each build turn: Average 2. New Games Concepts: It has been suggested that the unit critical chance property needs to be reviewed. As it stands now, all units have a critical chance of 5 which I believe is the default value. Would anyone like to make recommendations as to what values should be used for what types of units? Here is the atWar game definition: Critical hit combines the current roll (let's say 3) with the maximum attack/defence roll (let's say 7). This produces a critical hit of 10 damage. The chance for this to occur varies depending on the unit and strategy, but normally it's 5%. 3. Please adhere to the Turn One (1) Protocol: • Players can not move units outside of their home country on turn one. • Players who do not adhere to the turn one protocol will be removed from the game and not invited to future games. • If you are unsure as to what you can and can not do on turn one. Don't do anything. Wait until turn two 4. Other Stuff: • Our player list is growing. At last count there were over 140 players on it. • Players are automatically removed from the player list after 30 days of atWar inactivity. • If you wish to be removed from the player list, send me a message, you will be removed. • Players who request to be removed from the player list will not be invited to future games.
