I got an idea for a tournament.

Not hosting it just yet.... today I had a good idea (Hi ROYAL and thx for SP rich) and though it would'be wort to make a tournament about it. Please tell me what do you think about it.

Features:
- 2vs1 fight in Eurasia (Eu vs Asia match).
- Single match (until semi-finals and finals, then will be best of three).
- 3k starting funds and Extra cities enabled, with upgrades and strategies enabled (this can't be changed).
- 4 minutes Turn and 50 max turns (this can be changed if both parts agree).


Players:
- One player (rank 10 and upper sign here) vs a team of two players (Rank 9 and below sign here).
- For avoid the fuss of having three players online, the team of low ranks can make a team with more players, and decide between themselves a type of hierarchy for choose who is going to play the match. In case the match exceed the deadline, chances are against the team playersunless they can prove that the high rank was inactive or didn't wanted to play the match.
- Also to make this interesting, there will be a limit of 4 players in a team and they are allowed to add or remove any player every three rounds and in the finals. Players removed won't get trophy.


Picking sides:
- Rank 10+ decides which continent to get.
- If he chooses Asia, to balance it out the European team must pick in Western Europe AND not make any moves in Turn 1.
- If he chooses Europe, then Asian team must be in Eastern Asia (including Indochina).


Special cases:
- A team vs team battle will be in Eurasia, first one picking a continent keep it for his team and the other must pick another continent. There is no special rule.

- A 1 vs 1 battle will be held at Laochra's Eurasia map with 5k and 4 minutes, but can be changed to normal Eurasia as long as both parties agrees beforehand. There is no special rule except that it must be a continent vs continent battle.


***In both cases, Middle East is considered Asian, so it is fair for any of the players to pick in those areas. Picking a country that belongs to two continents (except egypt, that is counted as Asian) is not permitted.***.


Trophies:
Two different trophy; one for the higher rank and the other for the whole low ranks team, also a trophy with different color will be awarded for places 1,2,3,4 and 5.

Thoughs? Are those settings balanced?

Seems complicated and extensive, but if you can make it work with balance then that'd be pretty cool.

Okay, lowered to 50 Turns.

You can always change it though, just get the other player to agree...

Sounds like a fresh idea if it works...

Great idea, only if you can handle it.

Imo, this is too complicated to be realized
