Remove -1 in cities = Blitz OP and 1 week later u have the opposite thread
If u play Blitz, walls are actually ur 2nd line of defense, ur first one being TBs (I know the community doesnt believe me but again and again I notice Blitz TBs much better, both when I play it and when I play against it)

tbs are better with blitz because militia and inf have so much range, nothing else to it really. But yes tbing is even more important with blitz.

Best way to war as Blitzkrieg-man is counter-attacks. You just make %N% tanks and 3 or 6 soldiers. Declaring war, moving all this stuff to enemy's land, defend this stack with soldiers. Repeat it next turn, never use these soldiers again to wall stack (they can be attacked and it next turn your stack will be not triagled anymore!). If you act so, you need not defence anymore, just act counter-attacking from a walls! xD

When I see a R4 knows how to play Blitzkrieg better than "pr0s", I laugh so hard.

How disgusting that you people are actually even considering a boost or nerf to no matter what strategy...

I mean the community is dying slowly, I am not sure if you people can actually see that? Yes ofcourse for the 1 person that leaves the game 2 or 3 join at the same time, but lately you guys want to limit everything so low ranks or ''alts'' cant ''farm'' or do this or that. So to come back at the 1 person that leaves 2 or 3 people join at the same time is surely true, but those 2 or 3 people that join probably dont last longer than 1 month and i think in severe cases only 1 person stays playing this game.

And you guys can blame html 5 for it, amok or ivan for it, but threads like this, and moderators like this that do not include the community, which are the people that are going to play everyday with strategy changes like this, keep changing the things, keep destroying things that did not need to be destroyed. It is a suicide watch and you people are clueless as fuck to even notice it. And ofcourse people will say now ;'' wtf are you talking we had 4 cws yesterday'' but 4 cws for the last couple of days is not even enough to compare with how it used to be when the community was more activer.

For fuck sake just make limits when a strategy is changed you need to atleast wait 6 months to change the next strategy, only in cases where a strategy is out of proportion and way to OP then you dont need to wait 6 months. This is getting ridiculous everytime when you lose vs a strategy make a strategy change thread.

I'm not completely against a blitz boost btw, but i dont want to see blitz go back to dominating every single setting on atwar. Worse the high ranks who grew in that era never learned any other strategies and developed little in the way of skill. Blitz is that strat we all buy as beginners because it is easy and requires less micro. I went for it over sm for that very reason. If it is really powerful and versatile why ever move away from that? We all saw the result, and many of the high ranks im talking about quit after the nerf because they couldnt play anything else.

I've seen them all and considered them all too, the fact of the matter is i can hop into some standard europe duels and dominate with blitz when the circumstances suit. Look at clovis dominating la and sa with blitz. Any setting where maneuverability is important. When i set out to make strat changes i wanted to find a competitive niche for every strat and bring the underused ones up to par. I pretty much did just that. Nobody can say that i didnt. If there is any situation where blitz is indeed a piece of crap and cant stand against another strat then you shouldnt be playing blitz. You've a dozen or so other strats to choose from for a reason, use them. Rather than coming to the forums every few months to make the same complaints.

I have to agree that bitz nerf actually forced us to focus on another strategies. I, who practically very rarely used PD, stareted using it mostly now.
Also, this kind of discussion and words I appreciate much more then your first post on this thread where I felt like a garbage after your words, same as everyone other who is standing same opinion as me about blitz nerf.

Blitz had to be nerfed, but I think -1 def in cities was too much. Let's find some middle where we all can agree

Already then i was playing first time with friends, a lot more discomfort gave me desync and dumb shit then i picked the strat in profile, but in a game it was like not picked. I needed to pick this damn again in game to make it work.
Also, i bet 99% novices don't gives a fuck how to buy an upgrades: In old version of atwar there was an big button on screen "upgrades", now it is hided from an eyes.

RA and blitz are shit they need some buff.I dont get the fucking point in PD giving +1 def to inf yet RA doesnt give any extra att in tanks...Add again +1 att to tanks and keep it to 4def.That should make it balanced.Or at least remove +10 cost for mil and inf.They already have -1 def.Same for blitz its competely worthless.

Yeah I remember, it was just after RA got a strong buff. It was also the only two times you ever beat me in a duel. I wonder how many times I beat you before and after that? Hint: a lot more than twice (makes us ~17 - 2 actually). The truth is 75% of the players who relied on blitz weren't very versatile. While you played blitz and RA I was playing gw, pd, imp, sm, if, etc... sorry if the truth hurts your feelings.

There seems to be a funny trend where posts that are 3 pages deep tend to get ignored since most people will just skip right past this, but i'll go ahead and give a quick comment anyway.

My overall thoughts on blitz are this...

I have never once played blitz (and always find it interesting how people say "every new player plays blitz") so take my opinion for what is worth. But from what I can tell blitz is just fine. I have lost on all settings to blitz players, the range and TB potential is ridiculous, sexy expansion, and easy to play makes it a strong strategy from what I can tell.

Also like I said in the "DS is OP thread", just look at how much a strategy is used, I still see blitz used quite often so I don't think it needs any kind of buff, whereas I can go weeks without facing a single RA user. The strategies are incredible well balanced and like I have said elsewhere on forums it really is one of the best parts of the game how balanced the strategies are, the only one I would want touched right now is RA since it seems to me the most under used strategy.

Note:When I talk about use i'm not referring to what random payers pick, but to the strategy top end players use, be it EU,RP,Scenario whatever. I still see blitz used quite frequently as well as of course, PD,GW,MOS,LB,GC,NC,SM,even HW (go Sultan go) but RA is lagging behind in use and would like a militia buff, or some other kind of buff to make it a viable strategy.

All the damn noobs who cried over blitz is to OP is couse they suck balls and coudnt handel playing vs a good blitz player, go cry go whine, go rage go screem but you are noobs and all you do is fagg on SM PD GW

I think blitz is OK as it is. I suppose one could run some tournament with a group of the best players doing a round robin with a test of each strategy, but even then it's not clear what this would prove.

And sure, if you're going to modify some strategy, maybe RA since it is not a good strategy for the majority of maps. I remember tanks used to have +1 attack with RA, but that might be going too far the other way.

RA before nerf had 9att and 5def.It was such a nice strat Now its completely fucked up.You get bankrupt turn3 thanks to +10 cost for mil and inf,you cant defend shit thanks to -1def BOTH for mil and inf,and all you get is a -30 cost for tanks.Yet i still rape ukraines with RA.As for blitz i think it should get a slight buff.For RA i would say remove +10cost and add +1 att to tanks.Also i dont know why we keep discussing this since the poll is obviously in favor of buffing blitz.So laochra gtfo.
