You can only share with us you canned arguments that you've heard from people older than you, who themselves are insignificant. I'm here to tell you to think by yourself.. And to think for yourself means to question everything you can, even the stuff you agree with already. If you end up thinking the same thing after that as you do already, great, maybe then you'll atleast say something worth reading. But no man who has ever lived can be called a thinker or claim to know something if he hasn't changed his mind on something atleast once. Even as I type this I'm rethinking what I think about Islam, and generally coming to the same conclusion because it overrides all others, they are people like you and me and they cant choose where they are born or the culture they are born into, but so many are still capable of leading peaceful lives, which suggests Islam isn't the problem but something else, either within it or something that latches onto it. You say you met muslims in person, you say they are nice poeple who love and respect others right? See i live in a majority muslim country and in a majority muslim part of it, they are not nice and they do not respect others! They might behave ok for a few years or generations, but once they become the majority they will destroy you.It has happened many times before in indonesia, india (parts of it), sudan, kosovo, albania and heck even bosnia.

Now lets leave opinions behind and focus on the facts and stats.

30% of UK muslims think sharia law should be enacted in the UK, 98% of them think homosexuality is unexceptable and 30% of them think it should be a crime, over 40% of Uk muslims think womens role is to basicly be a servant to the man and so on and so on. Scariest part is that there are reports of sharia law being enforced by muslims in their parts of UK cities already.

Oh and if you want sources for the statistics ill be happy to dig them up, plenty of polls were done on this.

Ive lived in bosnia my whole life, its even considered a moderate muslim country and yet its still horrible for non muslims living in muslim parts of it.

And yes, many christians dont support gays or dont really support women rights BUT, no gays will be killed for being gay by christians while in muslim countries (specifically in iran) there are still cases of gays being killed or punished severely for their sexuality.
No women will be stoned for cheating on their husband in the west while in muslim countries (saudi arabia etc) women will be killed if they dont get certain ammount of male witnesses to prove they have been raped (for real), dont try to compare the two, one has negative stand on gays while the other will kill them.
We may have traditional belief that women are suppose to be housewives and raise children but none of us force women to be that way, none of us force them to cover themselves from head to toe in black poliester, none of us ban females to vote and none of us will kill them for a mistake they make.

Yes the sharia thing is so far isolated events but when 30% of muslims in UK want to be under sharia then you have a problem.

We were talking about assimilation in the UK.. it happens on a sociopolitical level. Sharia law can't threaten us because it goes against the concept of freedom, which is a principle people seek to be governed under when they seek to live here, that includes syrian refugees.

P.S how am I losing? Because there are more of you than me? This is an argument that has raged for the past 15 years and it boils down to a choice between being open or closed.

What i will say though, is that i just got an amazing offer to go work in Germany in a higly paid managerial position and i would be lying if i didnt say i havent given an answer yet.
