We now have more trolls than players, I won't name them, who profession at insulting or making racist comments. I am glad that Atwar is growing friendly. Of course, shrinking number of professional players and competitive games is another matter. But all in all, new quality maps, RPssss for example, make Atwar a better platform for fun. New generations, RP pros for instance, make 3v3s unprecedentedly entertaining. And afterall, Atwar hasn't really changed. Connection and server continues to be shit. It shows consistency in certain extent.

I was not around in 2011 so I don't know about the game being better then. But from what I can tell the game is growing and I find it a lot of fun, with a good competitive scene and hope to see the game continue to grow and see new players join.

Okay, never underestimate this guy.... lesson learned.

@Topic: AW is better for me than it was before. Now you have duel seasons and shortcuts which are great. Only thing I would probably miss from the old times (apart of the players) is the zoom trick.

I loved the 2010 era the most. The times when you used to cap someone turn 1 just after agreeing to ally them in pr .

2012. goblin mainly plays duels - there were no duel competitions
2013. goblin plays and works hard to become the best duelist - there are no duel competitions
2014. goblin breaks records, reaches top elo 3 times, starts beating the master tophats himself - there... are... no fucking competitions (and they steal his hard earned slayer trophy)
2015. goblin starts to have this nihilistic feelings about duels and feels as if he wasted years on nothing and wants to quit, but nonetheless still kicks ass with hardcore 2min duels

The game increased numbers with HTML5. A lot more actually, despite how many of us stopped playing. The unique IP addresses that came through can prove that. So yes this site is going the right way. Even if it is getting further and further away from the competitive scene. Soon we will be the noobs of AW.

2013. atwar renaisance- game of fuckin thrones motherfucker- flood of badass gangsta competitive players, old fags tryharding to keep up and establish superiority against the new boyz in the
hood, duels on fire, ww2's flying around, cw drama, player drama, flamewars and waffel acting like a fag with ldk and alexmeza

2014. more cws, more duels, more drama, great players, great games, great season, offtopic forum faggotry level 10/10

2015. the beggining of the end, players dying, clans decaying, level declining, cw number shrinking, forum withering, trolling extinct,clan drama fading, flamewars perishing, rise of political correctness, acquisce resigned, "scenarios are competitive too now" and flood of muslim immigrants in Europe. Overall not bad per se, but definately mediocre.

People have been complaining about the dead competitive scene but what do you guys do? Illyria goes inactive so its top members join sm? I like lao but it's the wrong way to go indeed if we want to turn things around. We need more clans many many more clans, and it's obvious we are not capable if doing it ourselves

It was a time, long before custom maps, back when premium wasn't so popular. It was a time where world game (no extra) was played. It was a time where large map reigned supreme. Where players kept fighting until the end (unless they were high ranks). It was a time where rank 8 was considered high, and 10 was rare. Phrases such as "flower-power" and "1st move" was prevalent. Where rank 6 was considered good, where we trusted rank 4 and 5 on our teams.

Many of you would have been destroyed, but that was why the game changed. Sleep well, Afterwind. You are missed.

We welcome in the new era of AtWar, an age of epic scenarios and tiny maps that players considered competitive.

I want it all and get nothing when it comes to this game. I think all our woes woukd be solved if we could strengthen the servers and increase the overall daily player base. As of now there is a huge despirity of everyone of aws groups fighting over players which allows for maps to be started. The final solution is more players, best way to do that woukd be steam hands down we would see the greatest golden age aw will ever have, out shinning 2013 like it was dark ages.
