These are played 2 out of 3 no? 1 match to little and luck based, and first battles against opponents are normally the worse and just full of sweeps.

Also should have proposed before that you must use same team every battle. That way we don't have counter teams against certain players.

And we should just post the replay links. So we can all see the battles, make sure people don't break rules (endless battle, etc.)

No I think you should be able to change teams as much as you like.

I mean you should play your opponent at least two times. If you win one and he wins one you play a third to decide the winner.

But you saw I was asking for practice a very long time ago. I didnt even know this tourney started until now lol.

So a few players get a head start on the rest of us? It's 2,4,8,16, or 32 etc.

Yup i'm against you. I'm not that experienced in pokemon battles, just started playing and joined the tourney just because i used to watch pokemon as a kid

Also: Heracross is allowed as is it's mega evolution, both are OU or less

Fact is you're giving out medals for an unfair tournament. If you knew you weren't gonna get 32 you'd have to dumb it down, cut out a few players, and go with 16 plan and simple. Giving out medals for this tournament was pushing the line enough like Mr_Own_U said but now you should definitely go to proto coins as alternative awards.

Guys relax… the medals were only an afterthought so as to incentivize more people to join the tournament. It doesn't really matter to me either way. I just want people to have fun, it's pokemon it isn't supposed to be super competitive
