Nearly everyday there is a post that is talking about "servers, map editor not being done, amok and Ivan don't care, Mods suck", and so on. And the thing is, this is coming from the players who have been playing for atleast 2 years. My motto was always adapt or perish. Sadly I lost to my motto when HTML 5 came out. I could not adapt to HTML 5, I couldn't play it, since it brought lag to my computer. I never once blamed the admins. I accepted it, I left the game without being mad. I didn't take for granted what this game had already done for me. This game has done a lot, and that is what people forget. This game is much more then 3v3, Scenarios. The social platform on this game is incredible. Bringing people from all around the world together. For example, I probably would not have met somebody from Croatia, Serbia, Greece, Albania, Ukraine. People are quick to jump on the games flaws, and not jump on what it has done for us and continues to do. If Ivan and Amok wanted they could shut down the servers completely. And guess what that does? All the friends you have on this game are gone forever, and you have no way reaching out to them. People you've been playing with for years +, gone. This is ofcourse if you havent exchanged skype, facebook w/e. Things are being taken for granted. Okay, server crashed on a CW, Turn doesn't go through...Big deal? Atleast this games still here. If you really don't like it, leave. Make peace and leave. As you guys know I played this game religiously. I was on here everyday basically from 2013 - 2015. I couldn't get enough. I met many people on here, some good, some bad. That's a gem to me. Let's me know how people on the other side of the world are doing. When HTML 5 came out, I simply couldn't play. A game I loved I had to abandon. I never once blamed Ivan or Amok. It was either lose atwar since Silverlight was going away, or find a new platform. I never felt resentment for them because I couldn't play. I was grateful they kept it alive so I can still keep incontact to some of the people who still play. I've tried coming back to help the competitive aspect, I couldn't do it. But that doesn't make me hate atwar. And that's the point i'm trying to make. Be grateful for what atwar has already done for you, and what it continues to do. Some of the stuff I have seen from these map makers and competitive players is really cringe worthy. If you don't like it leave like I did and don't complain. Thank the people who provided you with years of entertainment. There's no reason to complain about something everyones aware of. Be thankful atwar is here to log on to. If the admins gave up, there wont be any server crashes... That's cause there wont be any servers period. Just food for thought. Event though I don't play, I lurk the forums. -This is general discussion since it relates to the entirety of atwar, feel free to lock it even, not much of a discussion is trying to happen, just me telling people be grateful-

I agree but there has to be some sort of standard. We paid money. I think it was worth buying premium abd I still have fun with atwar but how this is being handled is very destructive to the game, what will a new person interested in buying premium think when he checks the forums?

Jeez mou, its not like ppl are asking for the moon and stars. They just want servers that don't crash a few times an hour. And the functional mapmaker that was mentioned when buying premium.

Once again, somebody cries how HTML5 lags, kills computers and stuff. HTML5 AW is literally very lightweight, especially compared to Silverlight version. Stop that argumentless spam. But at least you're right about people crying because they lost 1 turn.

I have no problem with html or disconnect, and when i do i don't consider it a problem. My problem is i miss epic WW2 games and my afterwind friends. If there was only once a week ww2 game without leavers - i would be happy. Instead i spent €500 on WoT drowning my sorrow.

Greetings and Salutations, First let me start with this ..... Do not go gentle into that good night Dylan Thomas, 1914 - 1953 Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night. Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Mr_Own_U, what you see as complaining, whining, crying and the general unrest of the AtWar community I see as this poem. A community who refuses to go gentle into the night. We players who bought premium were "promised", offered, given certain rights, privileges, options, perks within the game, such as the map editor, in exchange for our hard earned money. Money we chose to put in Amoks and Ivans pockets for those abilities with in the game. But since the change to HTML 5 they have failed to fulfill their part in making those functional for us, the premium players. When "we" say they don't care it is because of a lack of communication on their part to keep "us" their customers, the premium players, informed of any sort of progress or upcoming updates, or even living upto the deadlines they themselves have set. If, as suggested here, http://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=27230&board_page=3, they did something like this on a weekly or monthly basis there would be whole lot less of the general unrest you see going on in the forums. But they treat us like mushrooms instead. I have no issue with the HTML 5 rendition of the game and truly only wish they would finish the transition and make all the features of the game fully functional in HTML 5. You stated it brought you lag since the switch from Silverlight, IE: server crashes, which made you unhappy and unwilling to adapt to this new platform of the game. Well unlike you, "we" are not willing to give up on what we paid for. We are unwilling to go gentle in to the night and just abandon something we love without a fight. And for me and I am sure for many others, it is as you said, because of the friendships we have made in this game, that and it is a truly awesome game when fully functional. And thus we are unwilling to accept lag, server crashes, and an unfunctioning map editor as status quo. We are unwilling to remain silent and sit idling by while nothing is said or changed. Until they pull the plug or fix the problems we are and will rage against the dying of the light and will not simply lie down and surrender, like you said you have done. So thank you for your point of view but unless you really want to play the game, go gentle into the night. P.S. As for the "Mods suck" point of view, well that is a whole different animal and will always probably be a complaint by the community till we have non player moderators who are truly unbiased and impartial. Or there is an automated censorship program in place to eliminate profanity, vulgarity and general misuse of the chat system to eliminate players from feeling picked on for their poor choice in words.

But atwar still can be better. Thanks to this problems like 30% of players left atwar already. You can say whatever you want but we need to improve.Without improving all this hasn't sense. We try to improve everyday, we are trying so hard on being perfect on all .And this is the same we need to improve this game every time we can.

Jesus Christ, that post is whatever.Servers crush every minute, game has more bugs than ever, like the one that i attack a wall using a unit from a stack then i send that stack to attack denmark.Next turn i see denmark not being attacked, and my whole stack attacking the wall.FFS FIX THAT SHIT GAME IS UNPLAYABLE.Also when buying premium it says "map editor" yet i see no functioning map editor anywhere.Of course we are gratefull for what we have but enough is enough.Admins seem to give absolutely no fuck about it,aparently they get enough money from this game and dont care anymore. But when more and more players get tired of this shit and start leaving and they start losing money then they will care.Greedy admins.Yet some of you keep repeating the same things that make absolutely no sense.Hey this game is unplayable full of bugs, bad servers, admins not giving a fucking fuck but hey man be grateful!
