Show in chat if the player surrendered or left

I suggest an option to show us (players who are in game) if the enemy player surrendered or left the game.

Often some players get trolled by spectators saying that their enemy left , while hes still playing.

This is a good and simple suggestion that would be very helpful and beneficial to us.

I thought this was already being done? I swear I've seen it say that someone surrendered in the chat box. Or you can see they disconnected which means they might have left.

No, often times it doesn't show up. It only shows it in "Turn Events" that somebody has surrendered or left the game due to a timeout.

I was making an example in the words, then later joined and left some games to get the ss's as proof

Okay, then why doesn't this get moved to bugs? Sometimes it shows up, other times it does not!

Oooor you just look in the players tab under teams and it will show who has not surrendered

I've never known this as a bug. Every time someone surrender/abandons, it always shows one of those two screenshots I posted (for me at least).
The author himself admitted that he just missed it by accident, so I wouldn't think it's a bug, unless someone else has had problems with it.

For me it doesn't show up sometimes. And I'm not the only one( not talking about the author of the post). At first people will say they may have missed these messages. Later, they'll notice there weren't any to begin with.

The "player surrendered" only shows after the turn ends... not a bug, doesn't, show sometimes sometimes doesn't ...it never shows up at the moment player actually surrendered.

When I took these ss's, they appeared the moment I clicked "surrender" or "abandon". I think maybe only the person who actually did it would see it at that very moments, everyone else only sees it at the end of the turn.

I know you are referring to me, but I was making the point only about "left game". Surrender, of course, only shows in the turn events. "Left game" doesn't show up in some instances.

The title of the topic is surrender :/ ...never in 3 years have i encountered left not showing.

Nevertheless my response stands to your post since you responded both are shown in chat

Yup you are right.

What we want is this to be show asap someones surrenders in chat. But the users who are playing the game and moving troops cannot see if someone surrendered or not.

Yes.. this is a bug of course. Some times it does show up and some times it does not.

I've seen it while I'm fighting someoen and so I know I can just click end turn and I win. So I know it's worked before. Sounds like a bug as there are several people who have seen it and several who havent.

What are you talking about?
