I've no idea if this idea has already been suggested or not, but essentially I'm suggesting some Single Player Mode Ideas: One, where the player can select how many enemies (AI) they want, select who those enemies are or where they start (i.e. Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, or any areas in other maps such as Game of Thrones/LoTR as well). These AI should be ever learning or "adapting" to the player, for example, based on the difficulty the game is set too, the AI would "mimic" the players expansion rate, double it, or even slow down from it. The AI should also be sending ally requests, proposing peace, and declaring war. Or perhaps the AI could follow a "set" expansion rate. For example code the AI to expand to a certain number of surrounding areas or have the AI play as you would, for example play as a certain country and do whatever it is you'd normally do to "win" the game against other people but code the AI to "record" what you are doing, then when that location is selected as an AI, have it "press play." Two, a Campaign mode. This campaign mode should have different difficulties. It should also come equipped with various scenarios (historical/player made ones for variety) It should cover some of the most played maps first then possibly spread to every map? Better yet, a different set of campaign mode for each map, giving players achievements (or SP awards, etc.) when they complete the campaigns and scenarios. Both these game modes should allow the Player to invite his/her friends to the game and play with them. Perhaps a mixture of the two is in order? Maybe a "campaign" mode could help with the tutorial? For example, give "quests" to the player, "Build 50 tanks." "Attack 5 different countries" "Build 3 Defense triangles." Things like that and the player be rewarded for it upon the next turn from completion. I apologize if I've repeated myself in any part of this. Please let me know what you all think about it.
