Ukraine's standard SM is actually one of my worst gameplays, and I'd like some advices about how to play it... Well jk, actually not joking, but as many of your knows I am making a guide about ukr and it would've hillarious if I write about a country that I don't know very well... So, can someone give me tips about how to play ukraine? PLS

Isn't it similar to any other country? keep enemy completely wallfucked (in Ukraine case keeping Balkans unwalled) try take key enemy ports (since Ukraine usually fighting turkey he would be focusing Istanbul varna and the Georgian port) build a fast income so taking things like RC RNW possibly finland ect, and depending on strat/enemy keeping key ports like RS port Odessa RNW/Finland and the Baltics to be able to have mobility in the black sea and scandi? edit 1: also being always able to get back to keiv and be able to hit Ankara (assuming turk enemy as usually is)

what these are good tips, you should write them down. Seriously tho, after 500 duels and 3 years on this game, if you cant play one of the basic europe+ countries standard strats then i doubt theres much we can do to help you. heres what mauzer would tell you.

Bump - still taking suggestions (not troll...) Some questions though: 1. Full volga, wort it? 2. What to do if you get latemoved. 3. How much bombers does ukraine usually have in turn 4? 4. Does ukraine play with much bombers, much infantries or a mix of both? Or maybe another type of percent? 5. Any tips appart of not taking belarus t1? 6.How much militias do you need to be able to transport so one ATS result best than buy 6 infantries?

full volga=worth it if you dont loose it defend your citys even if you used to have a stack in there >_< attack with bombers and some inf, if you do it right the bombers kill everything and all die so you still have some inf so that your enemy cant take his stuff back take istanbul and other ports, but mainly istanbul, it has like 180 income

Latemoving is typically not a huge issue if you do something like leave 1 inf behind in rc and rnw. Even if you do get latemove odds are it will be walled in, and thus unable to be defended, and you have until t4 to take it back, which shouldnt be too hard since there is most likely only imp militia and a few tanks there. I am aware my grammer is terrible here

I started playing Ukraine pd some days back. It super freaking OP. It takes a long time getting used to though. Best thing playing pd is it reasonably easy to defend kiev. What is hard is taking cities in the initial 3 turns because you don't have very strong offensive units with good range. Also difficult to take more than 3 cities in volga but you won't need it in my opinion. One massive advantage is you is defending kiev. You can cause massive damage to turkey if you play it well.
