Scenarios-what they "are"

Okay so I'm getting confused a bit on what exactly scenarios would be- I originally thought it would be seperate maps like let's say ww1- but now I', hearing it would pretty much be "custom options" for maps. So, if anyone can- please give me a detailed explanation on the matter. Also, I had some ideas for scenarios if it were pretty much country choosing options like ive heard;

• Naming of countrys made from selection
  
• Reinforcemnts, you decide how many reinforcments each city would have
  
• Change city names, like gdask to danzig or depression to detroit.

We haven't really been given much info, i guess we could hassle Amok or Ivan but i doubt they will say anything until release haha.

i'm not sure, i mean it would be really difficult to make a scenario like WW2, so i think it's just best to stick to custom scenarios.

I guess the Japanese vs the Americans and Australians in the Pacific and Oceania could be created...though that an be created anyway haha.

But a European scenario would be way too complicated, Germany(with Poland) Austria-Hungary, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania and various others would crush France, UK, but it was alot more complicated, yes the war was centered in Europe but UK had a commonwealth so countries like India (including Bangladesh, Pakistan sent over 2million troops to aid Europe), Canada(helped out during the D-Day landings, fielded 20k, and lost the least) and Australia as i mentioned before helped paint the bigger picture. (Oh and Spain(couldn't fight after a civil war, supported Germany but became more neutral towards the end, surprise surprise) and Turkey(until Germany was losing, never fought a battle, only to qualify for the U.N) and Netherlands(until attacked, Lol), Switzerland, Belgium(until attacked) were neutral, making an even more boring Europe situation.)

And of course without reinforcements, and attacks from both The Soviet Union and America(no, i'm not going to say they saved us, look up the battle of Britain, also don't think they did it for free, America knew they had to join in because in attacking Normandy, because if they didn't Germany was gonna attack them next, they were too pussy to attack directly so they "helped" in a assault on Normandy, and now Hollywood fills in the blanks.)
and without battles being won throughout the middle east in Iraq, Iran in the 1940's (The middle east was extremely important, resource rich, and a path from India to Europe), the war might of been a totally different story.


Also, the war was fought of a matter of years, and moved at a much slower pace than the game does, so we need custom Scenarios, that fit the game mechanics and time scale. Also, you can't forget about soldiers from countries like Poland, that survived the invasion and went on to fight in the battle for France, and then The battle of Britain, also, the French resistance during the D-Day operations (do you really think all the soldiers just curled over a died? Yes there wasn't an army, but every man was valuable to the war effort.)

Towards the end of the war it was basically, All of north and South America, Soviet Union (Yeah the Germans and Japanese must of had pretty high egos to piss of The Soviet Union, USA, and all of South America in the space of 2 years.) , UK Middle east, India, China and Australia vs The rest of Europe and Japan, now we all know how that would end.


But anyways thats the end of my ramble for now.

Bunch of words

Well from what ive heard its that you can customize the map to your likeing (select countrys, merge countrsy, raise pop. etc.) By the way, nice ww2 recap
Also if they didnt want to tell us exactly what scenarios are, then why bother voting for something you have no idea what it is?

Hence the reason I voted for 12/24 hour games.
